Conversation Guide

These are low-pressure prompts for ordinary conversations — anchored to the lessons your child is practicing in-game. They aren't scripts. The goal is to keep the channel open so your child knows they can come to you when something feels off online.

Each section below pairs one of the seven in-game NPC lessons with what the lesson is teaching, why kids that age struggle with it, and conversation starters you can drop into a normal afternoon.

Guidance adapted from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NetSmartz), Common Sense Media, and Thorn's parent resources.

When to escalate beyond a conversation

If you suspect active grooming, contact with an adult who may be seeking to meet your child in person, or any situation that feels urgent — go beyond this guide.
